new update:
I have been switched to TeXstudio. It is for me more user friendly and less problem. Or go online like Overleaf

TEXnicCenter is an excellent tool making LaTeX documents.
Usually we use Adobe Acrobat reader as a default PDF reader.
However, SumatraPDF is better working with TeXnicCenter. It is tiny, faster and provides the inverse/forward search with TEXnicCenter.
The inverse/forward search is very useful while writing long documents.
If you use win7 32 bit, the setting can be found easily. If your system is win7 64 bits like what I use, the path is different. I made this brief note of the profile setting of TeXnicCenter.
step 1:
Build -> Define output profiles -> choose your profile --> switch to "viewer" page
step 2:
The executable path is :
"C:\Program Files (x86)\SumatraPDF\SumatraPDF.exe" -inverse-search "\"C:\Program Files (x86)\TeXnicCenter Alpha\TeXnicCenter.exe\" /ddecmd \"[goto('%f', '%l')]\""
Forward search : DDE command
Command:
[ForwardSearch("%bm.pdf","%Wc",%l,0,0,1)]
Server: SUMATRA
Topic: Control
I have been using this for years. It should work fine.
Have fun !
* hot key : F5 -> forward search

However, recently, I found the best solution which is to change "TeXnicCenter" to "TeXStudio."
TeXStudio is much much better than TeXnicCenter.
I throw TeXnicCenter away.
